![]() Tried, and liked the following: Orange TT (and dual terror) - but no reverb and not the greatest cleans. so not sure how useful the following will be, but what the heck - can't go to bed because Dylan is up and not willing to settle. Getting something that has to have tremolo does limit things though, as my probably slightly crap review below suggests.Īmps in UK are quite different to US, in the sense that we get some things cheaper obviously, but a lot of stuff is just not so available here. I spent the best part of about 8 months searching for a small affordable back up to my AC30, and I was in the market for something similar to what you describe - not high gain, but with reverb, etc. Maybe I should get an attenuator? Is there any way to mount one to the amp itself? Would a volume pedal connected to the effects loop solve the issue? Maybe I could get the 15" model, since I have several 210 cabs. ![]() I think I might just get another Delta Blues since the new ones are very solid with the tube guard built in, made in America, and have effects loop, but my one problem with that amp was the lack of a master volume which meant that the hum was always very noticeable at bedroom levels. Maybe a few Fenders have that, too? Chime in on my options, please. So far, my options are Vox AC15C1, Peavey Delta Blues, and then I'm just not really sure. I don't really play with high gain too much so I don't mind plugging delay into the input, so an effects loop isn't absolutely essential, but it's very much a plus. ![]() ![]() I play indie pop/rock, mostly use light overdrive, single channel is enough for me.Īs much as reverb pedals can be fun (and I love my Holy Grail Nano), I prefer $25 Accutronics spring reverbs to $150 pedals because once again, I'm just used to them. I like surfy tones and while I'm OK with using pedals to get there, I prefer amps that have my comfort zone right there on the amp itself. I've had a Peavey Delta Blues 210 before and loved it, and I currently have a Pathfinder 15R and it, too, has a reverb and tremolo, and really, I've gotten too used to having these things straight on the amp. ![]()
